A Wise Decision

Posted on Feb 22 2017 - 8:00pm
A Wise Decision

Scouts, you made a wise decision on the 14th when you decided to cancel the Death Valley campout. Furnace Creek may have only received 0.37 inches of water, but the campsites were under 6 inches of water Saturday.  The main highway we take into Death Valley was closed due to flooding and several of the park roads were closed due to mud and debris flows. You might have also seen the fire truck falling into a hole on I-15 when part of the freeway washed away in Cajon Pass Friday night during the height of the rain storm.

Good Job,

Gogo
