Welcome to BSA Troop 235 website.

Interested in joining our Troop?

Ages:  Boy Scouts is for all boys ages 11-17 (Grades 5-12).

Meetings:  Troop 235 meets on Tuesday nights at 7:00 in the new Fellowship Building at Red Hill Lutheran Church, located at 13200 Red Hill Avenue, Tustin, CA 92780.

You are always welcome to visit our Troop meetings and learn about our many activities. We are very active and camp almost every month.  Select "Contact Us" and send us a message.  We can schedule a visit and let you know what activities are planned for upcoming meetings.

Salesmanship Merit Badge – Final classroom portion

Salesmanship Merit Badge: Final classroom session – Tuesday, January 8th, 2019

Location – Red Hill Lutheran, Classroom # 14


For those scouts who completed the 2 classroom sessions for Salesmanship Merit Badge and completed their forms during tree lot season, this is the final classroom session. We are grateful to Mr. David Bergman for continuing to offer to teach this class for our scouts. During the final session, Mr. Bergman will review the feedback forms submitted by customers during the tree lot season and sign the merit badge blue cards. The scouts are responsible for bringing properly filled out merit badge blue cards to the session for final signatures.

Please bring completed merit badge blue card for Mr. Bergman to sign off on. Please note that January 8th is also the cut off date for scouts to submit completed blue cards to Dr. Huynh for the COH scheduled for January 22nd 2019.

Death Valley 2019

Event Details:
Departure: Arrive at 6:00 pm sharp on Friday, February 15 th at Red Hill Lutheran Parking Lot. We will be
leaving as soon as we're packed up. A group may leave earlier in the day to avoid traffic. Final
details will be announce one week prior to departure.
i. Eat dinner before you arrive
ii. We are leaving Red Hill Lutheran Parking lot at 6:30PM. (be there or be left behind)


July High Adventure Mr. Whitney

Registration Closes: January 31s

Location: Mt. Whitney, Sequoia National Park, Lone Pine CA  

Event Details: 

High AdventureThis is a High Adventure trip and all scouts attending must be 14 or have completed 8th grade prior July 13 2019.

Backpack through Sequoia National Park Wilderness to the highest peak in the lower 48 states. Along the way you pass through some of the most scenic wilderness in California. We will backpack 60 miles round trip from Horseshoe Meadows west of Line Pine CA. This is a physically demanding trip, backpacking through wilderness areas at elevations ranging from 10,000 ft to 14,505 ft. Participants should start training early to ensure they are in good physical condition for the trip.

Troop 235 has 2 treks heading to Philmont in 2020 with space for up to a total of 18 scouts and 6 adults. A separate signup for the trip will be publish in mid to late 2019.
